Hosaka Adds HS-2208S Short-Depth Model to HS-2200 Series 2U Industrial Server Chassis

Hosaka Corporation has added the HS-2208S short-depth model to its HS-2200 series of 2U industrial server chassis. Orders are accepted from today and shipments begin in January 2026.

At 450 mm deep, the HS-2208S fits the shallow racks and wall-mounted cabinets found in network operator sites, transport control rooms and factory server corners, while keeping the eight hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays, redundant power supplies and the H-BMC management controller of the series.

As with other HS-2200 models, the HS-2208S can be fitted with the SL1 Service Link module, which lets a unit at an unattended site report its status by radio when its management network is unavailable, and with the -48 V DC power option for telecommunications sites. Hosaka supplies the chassis on its own, or as an integrated system built and tested at our Koriyama Works to the customer's configuration.

The HS-2200 series is supported by our seven-year supply commitment from the launch of each model.
