Social Infrastructure

Infrastructure is built to last forty years, and its control equipment is expected to last at least twenty. Hosaka controllers have run in electric power substations since 1978 and in water treatment plants since 1971, and we still repair controllers we made in the 1980s at the Kamata Service Center.

The SC-460 wayside and substation controller and the RC series rugged computers are designed for outdoor cabinets and plant rooms, with wide temperature ranges, fibre-optic options and maintenance ports that a technician can use without a laptop.
