Hosaka has made industrial computers at Koriyama Works since 1987. They run in production lines, clean rooms, control rooms and on trains, where a desktop computer would last a year, and they are supplied for seven years from launch so that customers can standardize on one model.
Fanless designs, wide input voltage ranges and conformal coating options are standard. Operating system images are maintained by Hosaka for the life of the product.
